OUR LOCATION
Cabot Lodge is the perfect base for exploring Fiordland and all that it has to offer. Kayaking, hiking, scenic flights, fishing, glowworm caves, jet boat rides, scenic cruises, Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are all easily accessible from the Lodge.
Our property is four minutes from Lake Manapouri, five minutes from the departure point for Doubtful Sound, 15 minutes from the Kepler Track and 20 minutes from the start of the stunning Milford Road, which leads to Milford Sound, the Routeburn Track and Milford Track. Cabot Lodge also boundaries the Fiordland National Park, as well as the Waiau River, which is renowned for its trout fishing.
Guests can arrive at Cabot Lodge by vehicle, two hours drive from Queenstown Airport and Invercargill Airport, or by helicopter, a 25 minute flight from Queenstown. The Te Anau airport, located 10 minutes from the property, is available for arrival by chartered flight or private aircraft.
